Obesity is one of the biggest risk factors to your health that you can control and change! By losing weight, you can help lower your risk of several serious medical conditions, including:

  • Heart disease and high blood pressure
  • Stroke
  • Cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Gallbladder disease and gallstones
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Breathing problems, such as sleep apnea and complications from asthma and COPD

As a community, we have challenged ourselves to lose a total of one ton of collective body weight. 2,000 pounds lost – what an accomplishment! Letʼs work together to improve our health, be great role models for our children and raise awareness to improve the quality of life in the Walnut area!
